Since Malta is mostly an urban area I was not impressed by its landscape. On the other hand Gozo is really nice and Azure Window… wow effect… unfortunately it collapsed few months after our visit.
Mallorca

Lot of beautiful places and beaches. I choose to go there after the high season so it was really calm and quiet.
Burano and Murano

Two small islands located in the Venetian Lagoon. Burano is known for handmade lace and brightly coloured houses. Murano is known for its glass factories. You can try to escape there from tourist in Venice.
